A simple yet effective dental bonding agent is a first important step towards a successful dental restorative filling.

OBJECTIVE:
To test tooth bonding strength of an experimental all-in-one solvent free self-etching adhesive (SEA) in comparison with some of the commercial 6th and 7th generation self-etching dental bonding systems.

METHOD:
Extracted human molars were mounted in self-curing acrylics in a Teflon mold of 1 X 1 inch cylinder. The occlusal portion of the tooth was sectioned with a diamond saw with copious amount of water to obtain flat enamel or dentin and wet polished up to 320 grit SiC sandpaper (n=6 per group).
