New esthetic fiber post features radiopacity up to 400% of aluminum

Released at - June 28, 2011

Pentron Clinical, a leader in esthetic fiber post technology, is proud to introduce new FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts. FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts feature outstanding radiopacity of up to 400% of aluminum to help ensure that they are instantaneously identified on a radiograph at placement as well as at follo up appointments.

Translucent glass fibers bundled in a proprietary clear resin matrix provide outstanding flexural strength and help to preserve the natural lifelike esthetics that are desired when all ceramic restorations are prescribed.

To aid in core retention while preserving the integrity of the tooth, FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts are engineered with a flexural modulus that is similar to dentin. Pentron Clinical senior product manager Jeremy Grondzik says "the ability of the FibreKleer 4X Fiber Post to flex with the tooth and transmit stress more evenly along the remaining root structure helps to drastically minimize the instance of root fractures compared to metal posts".

To help streamline drill and post selection, all FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts are now color coded to coordinate with the corresponding drill. Revamped kit packageing features a bur block to securely retain posts and drills and improve accessibility.

Available in three body designs, Parallel with a retentive head, Tapered and Original, the FibreKleer 4X Post allows clinicians to choose the type of post that suits each individual case.

FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts are one of the lastest innovations from Pentron Clinical, an established leader in dental consumables industry, offering a wide variety of affordable products to suit your restorative needs.

As one of the pioneers of glass fiber post technology, Pentron Clinical continues to demonstrate its commitment to the technological advancement of dentistry.
